Blessed

This year I have had so much to be thankful and for many of you that know me know I cannot describe anything or do anything without picture documentation so here are the things I am the most THANKFUL for this Thanksgiving from this past semester.

Clovia
Clovia is where I live, eat, sleep, laugh, cry, dance and sometimes even think I'm gonna die. It has shaped my college career like nothing else could or has. It provides some of the most memorable moments and the best people that I have encountered. There is no real way to describe Clovia other than that these girls are my sisters, their family.

mud volleyball, the making of snooki, dance parties, and midnight premiers

The beautiful seniors who I'd be totally lost without. They are the best!

My Guy Friends

From Holden who fixes my computer and Clovia's major life issues, to Elliott the pool boy, William the milkman and Jedidiah my favorite amish fella. I've so thankful to have Smith House and all that they do for us.

My College of Ag Family

We tell all students on perspective visits that the College of Ag is like a family and it really is. I have been blessed to have all the opportunities it has given me from Ag Ambassadors to Honor Code to finding out about AFA. The friends you make in the College of Ag through organizations and classes do become a part of your family. It's unlike anything else and the number 1 reason why I love K-State.

My 21st Birthday

Sadly, not everyone lives long enough to celebrate turning 21 and I was fortunate enough to and I was able to celebrate it with some fabulous people. So many people have made my 21 years special and many ensured that my 21st was unforgettable!

My other Home

I'm still not sure how Hatchy and Adrienna feel about me randomly being over at their house visiting Megan and Amanda, but I'm extremely grateful that they put up with it since not only am I glad that I've become better friends with Kyla, but these girls definitely keep young. They are simply amazing and I'm not sure at what point we really became friends, but I'm definitely glad we did. Without them my junior year would not have been as fabulous as it has been.

Amanda's sister just so happens to be named Janci as well. After 21 years on this planet I finally met another Jancey!

My 'Mom and Sister'

After a few incidents our freshman year myself and Bailey started calling Adrienne mom and determined that one of us is the milkman's child and one of us the postman's. No matter what these 2 girls have stood by my side. They have always know what to say or what not to say and when to say it. They also are always game for going along with whatever crazy idea we may conjure up. They are simply the best and since I have enough favorite pictures of us for 18 photo albums I figured I'd just put in one. I would not be who I am today if they hadn't entered my life at precisely the right time.

My Family

This year my family has been through a lot. From the Hall side with my step grandmother's passing at the beginning of the year to the Long's side Great Aunt Marie passing followed by my Grandpa's unexpected death and finally the death of our 104 year old Great Grandma. I have learned the strength that ties us together and the bond that holds us close simply because at the end of the day we are family. We've seen each other a lot this past year and with that I am grateful, not so much the circumstances though. I love how we can go months without seeing each other and then pick right back up where we left off. It is amazing!

I have become so dependent upon my mom and my Grandma these past 6 months. They are definitely my role models for what I want to be like when I grow up.

Have a blessed and Thankful Thanksgiving to all!

Jancey
